Indians open the weekend with a 7-3 win over the Michigan Warriors

The Indians opened strong in the first period and jumped out to a 4-0 lead. Blake Mastaw opened the scoring at the 12:30 mark assisted by Cole Lussier, Alex Williams followed up and lit the lamp from Mastaw. Brenden MacLaren scored on a shot from the wing assisted by Ashton Calder and Evan Augustine finished out first period scoring from Drew Goupille and Kyle Yates. In the second period the Indians continued their offense and Mike Miller put a shot past the Warrior goalie on a pass from Lussier. The warriors broke the shut out but with 2 seconds remaining John Pesek blast a shot by their goaltender on a quick rush assisted by Mastaw and Lussier. In the third both teams scored one goal when Zach Satalino put a nice shot over the goaltenders shoulder from the slot assisted by Ethan St.Germain and Pesek. Brandon Gordon took the win in net.

Both teams return to action tomorrow at 10am.
