Indians rebound to take the second game 4-2 over the Caps

In the Saturday morning rematch the Indians came out with more intensity and found the net early when Kyle Yates threaded a shot through traffic past the Caps goaltender assisted by John Pesek. Lansing fought back and tied the game late in the first period. In the second Blake Mastaw won the battle in front of the net with assists going to Kristian Jackson and Evan Augustine, early in the second to go up 1. The Caps answered back and the teams went to the dressing tied at 2 through two periods. In the third Ashton Calder buried a shot from the top of the circle assisted by Brenden Maclaren and Augustine. Augustine finished the scoring from Jackson and Mastaw to give the team a two goal lead and the win. Brandon Gordon took the win in net.

The Indians now load the bus and travel to Kalamazoo for the third game of the weekend against the West Michigan Hounds at 7pm
