Belle Tire bounces back to shut out the Indians 4-0

Sundays rematch saw Belle Tire come out flying set to avenge their loss from the previous night scoring midway through the period on a four man rush up the ice.  The Indians regained their composure to keep the game with in one goal midway through the second period, however Belle tire scored three more unanwered goals late in the second and third to secure the 4-0 win.  Gabe Rosek played outstanding in the net for the Indians turning away 35 shots and making several brilliant saves through out the game.
The Indians will now hit the road next weekend traveling to Windsor Ontario to play the A-1 Academy Friday and Saturday, then over to Detroit to take on Little Caesars at Little Caesar’s Arena Sunday morning.

Indians blank Belle Tire 2-0

Saturdays game pitted the Indians facing off against Belle Tire in a MAHA Tier 1 game at the Taffy Abel Arena, the Indians opened the scoring in the first period when Adam Brzezicki won the battle behind the net and set up Chase Tallaire in front who wasted no time depositing the puck behind the netminder for the 1-0 lead.  In the second period both teams traded chances but the score remained 1-0 through two periods, early in third period Luke Parry worked off the boards and passed to Nolan Dresch at the point who threaded the needle through all players and the goaltender for the 2-0 lead.  Throughout the rest of period Dakota Meyer put on a show stopping all shots sent his way, turning away 35 total shots for the win and shutout.  

 

Both teams return to action tomorrow 10am at the Taffy Abel Arena.

Victory Honda blanks the Indians 5-0

Sundays rematch saw Victory Honda jump out to a two goal lead in the first period, add two more in the second and never look back.  Midway through the game the Indians put on a push but couldn’t break the shut out for the Honda netminder.  Dakota Meyer faced 30 shots in the net for the Indians.
The Indians will be back in action next weekend at the Taffy Abel Arena when they take on Belle Tire at 3pm Saturday and 10am Sunday.

Victory Honda takes the first game 4-1 over the Indians

Saturday night Victory Honda was in town the first of two MAHA Tier 1 league games.  Honda opened the scoring in the second period on an even strength goal midway through, the Indians bounced back to tie the game on a power play goal by Joe Moses from Nicholas Castillo and Cody Carlson about 4 minutes later.  Late in second Honda added another to close out the period with the 2-1 lead.  In the third Victory Honda added two more unanswered goals for the 4-1 win.  Dakota Meyer played excellent in net for the Indians.

 

Both teams will be back on the ice tomorrow 10am at the Taffy Abel Arena.

Indians fall 3-1 to Fox

Sundays rematch saw Fox again jump out to the early lead in the first period before the Indians got on the board in the second period on a goal by Isaac Ellingson from Brad MacArthur and Andrew Schwartz to the tying the game at 1-1.  Both teams battled back and forth until late in the third period when Fox Motors scored on a power play  with 3:34 remaining in regulation.  With the goalie out the Indians tried for the tying goal, however the puck popped loose to the Fox Motors player who scored on the empty net to secure the win.  Dakota Meyer played outstanding in the net stopping 27 of 30 shots he faced.
The will be back in action next weekend Saturday 6pm and Sunday 10am at the Taffy Abel Arena when they take on Victory Honda.
