The People Behind The Scenes Help Make It Happen

Every team has people who work very hard for them.  These are the people who may not receive enough credit for all that they do.  Mark, JoAnn, and June Meehan help wash, sew, and maintain the jerseys, socks, and whatever else we may haul over to them every week.   Alan McArthur and Kyle Shaw are our off-ice trainers who dedicate three days a week before and after practice.  Patty Ordiway puts in countless hours helping with housing and taking game photos for the websites while tweeting scores and plays throughout the games.  We can't thank all of you enough for everything that you do and we appreciate your dedication to this team.

Thanks again!

Indians and Colts skate to a 7-7 tie

In a game that had little or no defense both teams scored continuously.  The Indians opened the scoring on the first shift of the game when Spencer Silver won the battle in front of their net putting a lose puck behind the netminder with the lone assist going to Spencer DenBeste.  The Colts answered back late in the period to even the score at one a piece through the first period.  The second period however turned out to be wide open frenzy as both teams scored five goals, Jeff Rahilly scored from Dyllon Anderson, Silver scored his second from DenBeste, the Rahilly added his second of the game from Nolan Slachetka.  Zak Lasley got on the board from Brendan Miller and DenBeste added one of his own to close out the second period and send the teams to the dressing room tied at 6 all.  The third period didn't play out like the second, DenBeste scored to give the Indians a one goal lead early in the period from Kyle Lake,  however the Colts answered back four minutes later to knot the score again.  From that point on both teams traded chances but couldn't get the winner.  Aidan Curry was in the net for the Indians.

Next action for the Indians will be at the Taffy Abel Arena when Victory Honda comes to town for a pair MAHA Tier 1 league games next Saturday and Sunday in the Sault.
