The Soo Indians finish the weekend with a win and a tie against the Windsor spitfires
Sunday, September 22, 2013 at 02:29PM On Saturday the Indians jumped out to an early led to 2-0 in the first period, however Windsor fought back to tie the game through two periods. In the third period the Indians scored to take the lead, but with 3 minutes remaining Windsor tied the game on a power play and the game ended at 3-3.
On Sunday the Indians again jumped out to an early lead in the first period. The teams traded goals and the teams went to the dressing rooms tied at 2-2 at the end of the second period. In the third period the Indians jumped out to a 4-2 lead, Windsor answered back to close the score and made a final charge with the goalie pulled by couldn't get one in the net and the game ended 4-3.
Next action for the Indians will be the Compuware/Honeybaked tournament were they will play the Texas Tornado in their first game.
