Indians top Team Ohio 3-1 in the second game of the tournament

The second game started the same as the first game with Team Ohio jumping out to a 1-0 lead early in the first period and kept it till the 2:29 mark when Triston Theriot scored from the point on a powerplay assisted by Brenden Miller and Kyle Yates. Ashton Calder put the Indians ahead with one minute remaining in the second on a pass from Cole Lussier. The Soo continued to press the Ohio team and at the 4:31 mark Mike Miller scored an insurance marker to put the game away assisted by Josh Delaney. Brandon Gordon stopped 25 shots to take the win in net. Coach Caricatto felt that even though we won and tied today that the team has to play better and be more accountable to moved forward this season and our best players need to be our best players game in and game out.

The Indians take on the MDHL tomorrow 1145 at the Compuware arena.
