Indians top the Oakland Grizzlies 2-1 in a shoot out

On the second game on the road the Indians and Grizzlies played 47 minutes of back and forth hockey however neither team could finish and score the go ahead goal.  At the 4 minute mark of the third period Oakland finally broke the ice to go up 1-0, but with 3 minutes remaining Oakland took a penalty and Brenden MacLaren capitalized taking a puck of the half wall and put a shot over the Oakland goalies shoulder to tie the game up at 1 a piece.  Neither team could score in regulation and the Indians went to overtime for the second night in a row, however this time the overtime could not produce a winner and therefore it would be decided in a shoot out.  In the three man shootout Nick Skaluba was the only player to thread the needle for either team for the Indians win.  Will Hartwick took the win in the pipes stopping all three shooters for the win.
The Indians now travel to Lansing to take on Meijer AAA at 10am tomorrow.
