Indians advance to the championship game with a 5-3 win over the Barrie Colts

The semi final game was a rematch against the Barrie Colts, early in the first period Parker Rutledge made a rush up the ice and put the shot over his shoulder, Jeff Rahilly assisted on the goal for a 1-0 lead at the end of the first period.  In the second period the Indians were putting pressure on the Colts and a penalty shot was awarded to Garth Wickham who made no mistake and put the Indians up 2-0.  The Indians continued to push forward and Drayke Micolo found a loose puck scoring the third goal from Spencer Samppala.  The Colts didn’t lay down and fought back with three goals of their own, but late in the period Rahilly set up Colton Hayes in front of the net for the Indians fourth goal.  Early in the third Bren Lyons scored the fifth Indians goal from Hudson Troyer to finish out the scoring for the 5-3 win.  Alex Rairigh was between the pipes for the win.

The Indians will now face the Vaugh Kings, who are currently ranked the 14th best team in Ontario in the Championship game at 430pm
