Biggby takes two from the Indians
Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at 01:23PM Opening the second half of the season the Indians traveled to Lansing Michigan to face Biggby Coffee for two games. Saturday Biggby scored two goals in each period for the 6-1 win with the only offense for the only goal for the Indians being when Lucca Weinkauf stole the puck and went in on a breakaway beating their netminder. Sunday Biggby again got on the board first scoring three before Zach Sweitzer scored on a pass from Caden McDonald, then Gabe Fisher scored on a shot from the point to close the gap to one goal. Biggby answered back adding to their lead before Ethan Chambers scored from Sweitzer for the Indians third goal, however it wasn't enough for final score on 7-3. Justin Bamberger had duties in net.
Indians will regroup and return home to take on Lake Forrest Prep Academy at 3pm on Saturday Pullar Staduim and Sunday 10am at the Taffy Abel Arena.
