Indians top the Jr. Greyhounds

In the first match of the cross boarder series against the Soo Ontario Jr Greyhounds the Indians came out on top 4-3.  Evan Hoglund opened the scoring tipping a pass from Deven Jones-McDonald and Jordan Murray for the early lead midway through the first period.  Carter Huckson buried a rebound off a shot from Jarret Crimin for the 2-0, then added his second of the game late in the period for a 3-0 lead.  The Jr. Greyhounds got on the board in the second, then added a second goal to send the teams to the third period with a score of 3-2 in favor of the Indians.  Early in the third the Greyhounds capitalized on a turn off to tie the game 3-3, but with 58 seconds remaining Tyler Neveau scored on a shot from the point, assisted by Carter Huckson and Crimin, which turn into the game winning goal as the game ended 4-3.  Isiah Anderson played excellent in net for the Indians to get the win.

The Indians will travel to Sault Ontario to play the rematch against the Jr. Greyhounds 330 at the Rhodes arena tomorrow.
