Indians lose a heartbreaker to the Michigan nationals 2-1 in overtime

In a very physical game the Indians came up short in overtime. The Nationals scored in the first period and carried the lead all the way until the third period when Alex Williams scored to even the score at 1, assisted by Blake Mastaw and Evan Augustine. Regulation time ended with both teams 1 a piece. The Nationals struck early in the overtime to take the win. Brandon Gordon played excellent in net, but took the loss. The Indians finished the weekend with one win, two ties, and an overtime loss. Overall a good weekend for the team and we continue to move forward.

Next action for the Indians will be Saturday and Sunday in Flint against the Michigan Warriors.
