Indians top Little Caesars 4-3 in overtime

In the final game of the road trip the Indians started slow but finished strong to take a 4-3 overtime win at the Joe Louis arena.  Caesars came out quick scoring in the first period to take a 1-0 lead through the period.  In the second period neither team could score a goal and the score remained 1-0 through two periods, In the third Brendan MacLaren took a beautiful pass from Nick Skaluba for a breakaway and buried a shot past the Caesar goalie to get with in one goal, then with 4 minutes remaining Brendan Miller scored to tie it up from Spencer DenBeste and Skaluba, however Caesars came roaring back to take the lead back again.  With the goalie out and the Indians pressing MacLaren notched his second of the game with 1 minute remaining to send the game into overtime.  In overtime the Indians had several chances then when Anthony Harris was hauled down on a breakaway it put the Indians on a powerplay and with 40 seconds remaining Ethan St.Germain got in behind their defense and Skaluba threaded a pass to him which he buried behind their goalie for the game winner, the other assist went to Denbeste.  Will Hartwick took the win in net.
