This weekend the Indians matched up against the A21 Prep Academy based out of Windsor Ontario.  This team touted a lot of International flavor with 4 Russian, 3 Czech Repulic, 4 Austrailain, 1 German, and 8 players from Ontario.  Saturday nights game, played at the Pullar Staduim saw the Indians jump out to a 1 goal lead early in the first when Nolan Dresch fed Domenick Evtimov on wing, who set up Colton Hayes in front of the net for the goal.  Late in the first period A21 got on the board to even the score on a breakaway, from that point on it turned into a goalie show as both teams had great opportunities, but the netminder were up to the challenge and denied every opportunity which finished the score at 1-1.  Dakota Meyer and Gabe Rosek split the duties for the Indians between the pipes and both played outstanding.
Sunday mornings game at the Taffy Abel started much different with the A21 Academy jumping out to a 2-0 lead midway through the second period before Luke Parry beat the A21 goaltender on a nice deke on a pass from Cody Carlson and Chase Tallaire to get back within one goal.  A21 wasn’t about to stop and came back less than a minute later to regain the two goal lead heading into the third period.  The third period started fast and three minutes in Domenick Evtimov took a pass from Brad MacArthur in the slot and buried it over the goaltenders shoulder for the Indians second goal of the night, Andrew Schwartz had the other assist on the goal.  With time winding down and the Indians net empty for the extra attacker Warner Young fired a puck from the right point that was tipped by Colton Hayes past the A21 netminder for the tying goal with 1:25 remianing in the period, Cody Carlson had the other assist on the goal.  At the end of regulation the game ended at 3-3.  Gabe Rosek and Dakota Meyer split duties in net.
